The Greenwood Fieldhouse is a new sports/fitness complex highlighting indoor sports in the heart of Greenwood. Circle Design Group is very proud to have provided MEP design for this fun (and healthy!) recreational venue. Beginning as a study in 2017, the City’s vision was to utilize the former site of the Greenwood Middle School as an opportunity for growth and spark revitalization of the city. Portions of the school’s gymnasium, including a logo from its center court as wall art, were preserved. To quote Mayor Mark Myers, “This project is very dear to my heart because it is a state-of-the-art facility that blends the old with the new.”
The new community facility offers a wide variety of sports at the facility, including soccer, lacrosse, futsal, track, basketball, volleyball and pickleball. It also includes batting cages, golf simulators and a running track.
