Circle Design Group provided MEP engineering services for this new two-story elementary school. Initially called Clark-Pleasant Elementary School, the corporation elected to honor the life of Ray Crowe, an Indianapolis hero and basketball icon whose early life was spent in Johnson County on a property near the school. The facility accommodates up to 800 students and houses 45 classrooms, a cafeteria, kitchen, gymnasium, large group instruction areas, offices, and conference rooms. The building’s sustainable features include a solar array and geothermal, natural daylighting, solar shading, and enhanced thermal envelope.
