Indiana’s premier Level 1 trauma center, the new Eskenazi Hospital contains 315 beds in private rooms. Our firm was responsible for the MEP engineering of floors four through ten of the hospital towers totaling 350,000 square feet. These floors contain the burn unit and procedure rooms, women’s services with birthing suites and postpartum care, NICU, isolation rooms, intensive care, and patient rooms. We also designed fire alarm systems for all tower floors and provided lighting design for the hospital, ambulatory care, office, garage and site. The facility achieved LEED® Gold certification, making it among the first and largest new hospital campuses in the United States and first in the state to achieve this recognition.
