We provided MEP engineering for this new three-story office building known as the CIB.This Administrative Building houses University Information Technology Services (UTIS), a 200-seat auditorium, campus-wide and state-wide technology support facilities, and building-wide support facilities. Next door, and under a separate project, we also designed the adjacent Data Center, which is a windowless, bunker-style structure resistant to weather threats while also being suitable for the high-performance supercomputers and research computing housed within the structure. This building was 82,3000 sf and completed in 2009 at a cost of $ 33M. These two buildings are the epicenter for supporting all of IU’s information technical needs.
