Growing up, Ross was always by his father’s side in the family construction business. A native of Minnesota and a gearhead as a teen, he came to Indiana in 1986 for an engineering degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in his pursuit of a career in the automotive industry. At graduation, the “big three” had a hiring freeze and he fatefully accepted an offer in the A/E/C industry. More than thirty-years later, he has shared his talents on projects across the nation, with most of them in Central Indiana.
His favorite projects are those where he learns at least one new thing or where he can educate others about building systems. Ross is an eternal optimist, always looking forward and enjoying the diversity in his friends and acquaintances. Motorsports remains a favorite personal interest and as time allows, he’s continually giving a little TLC to the family’s 1937 Tudor home in their eastside Irvington neighborhood. As CEO of Circle Design Group, he is focused on company strength and ensuring each team member is continuously challenged and learning.
