Melissa has over 14 years of experience designing lighting for projects that are sustainable, budget conscious, and engaging for the end user while maximizing efficiency, aesthetics, and functionality. She holds a masters and bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in interior design. She is NCQLP LC and LEED AP BD+C certified and has served on the Indiana International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Board as the Vice President of Advocacy. Outside of the office, most of her time is dedicated to raising two spunky red-headed daughters, Taylor and Morgan, with her husband Nick.
- According to her daughters, cleaning and folding laundry are her favorite hobbies. She also enjoys yoga, skiing, and gardening.
- She loves anything caffeinated (…2 kids), Fresca, and has never met a potato she didn’t like.
- She lived in London while in grade school and studied abroad in Italy during college. She hopes to take her daughters to check out her old stomping grounds someday.
- She has known her husband since elementary school and lived across the street from him twice while growing up.
